Job summary

Bowman Jarashow Law LLC, an Annapolis-based civil litigation firm, seeks a full-time Litigation Associate Attorney. The role covers all phases of litigation, including depositions, motions, mediations, and trial preparation.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of substantive experience, strong research/writing skills, and is admitted to the Maryland Bar. The candidate will work directly with clients, develop case strategy with senior attorneys, and gain meaningful courtroom exposure in a

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active Maryland Bar membership.
Approximately 1–5 years of substantive litigation experience.
Excellent legal research and writing skills.
Strong analytical and oral advocacy skills.
Familiarity with Maryland state and federal courts and litigation procedures.
Ability to manage responsibility independently while working collaboratively.
Judicial clerkship and law review experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

Participate in all phases of litigation, from counseling clients to trial preparation.
Take and defend depositions; manage discovery and drafting of pleadings and briefs.
Appear in court and argue motions; partake in mediations/arbitrations.
Develop case strategy with experienced litigators and prepare cases for trial.
