Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Litigation Associate in Concord, NH to join a collaborative litigation practice handling a diverse mix of disputes across multiple industries. You will be responsible for direct client interaction, substantive motion practice, case strategy development, and exposure to all phases of litigation.

This role requires a JD, active NH bar (or Maine/NH admissions), and the ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of litigation experience preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated initiative and willingness to take ownership of matters.
• Judicial clerkship experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle litigation matters through all stages of case development and resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, responses, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy recommendations.
• Manage discovery, document review, and case organization.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and witnesses.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice disciplines on complex matters.
• Maintain case deadlines and manage multiple active matters simultaneously.
