Job summary

DebtBlue seeks a hands-on Director of IT to own infrastructure, from desktop support to Azure cloud and security. You will report to the CTO, lead a lean team, and ensure uptime for 150–200 employees across onsite and remote environments.

As a strategic yet hands-on leader, you will build robust IT processes, manage vendors, and drive initiatives that keep our systems reliable and secure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with 3+ years in a lead or director role.
• Experience supporting SMB environments (100–300 employees) with lean IT teams.
• Hands-on administration of Azure, M365, Entra ID/AD, and endpoint management.
• Office network management experience (Cisco/Meraki/Fortinet or similar).
• Telephony or cloud contact center platform experience (Five9, RingCentral, NICE CXone).
• Strong PowerShell scripting and TCP/IP/DNS/VPN troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day IT operations for 150–200 onsite and remote employees.
• Own cloud and network: manage Azure, M365, Entra ID/AD, backups, WAN/LAN, Wi-Fi, security.
• Keep the call center connected with telephony/VoIP uptime.
• Protect systems with IAM, MFA, EDR, patch management; enforce data protection policies.
• Manage vendors and cloud spend to balance cost and stability.
• Lead and develop two onsite IT Specialists; align IT with business goals.
