Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group | Staff Financial Group is seeking an IT Director who will operate at CTO/CIO level while remaining hands-on. You will lead a 4–5 person IT team, oversee infrastructure, ERP/CRM systems, and integrations, and drive IT roadmaps aligned with business goals.

The role requires 10+ years in IT with leadership experience, a strong Microsoft Dynamics background, and the ability to balance strategy with day-to-day execution. HIPAA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Information Systems or related field.
• 10+ years of IT experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong background across infrastructure, systems, and application environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (highly important).
• Ability to operate both strategically and tactically.
• Strong communication skills—translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience in smaller or mid-sized company environments preferred.
• Healthcare industry strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the full IT environment, including infrastructure, systems, and integrations.
• Lead and support a team of 4–5 IT professionals while remaining hands-on when needed.
• Develop and execute IT roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Partner with business leaders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Identify gaps between business goals and system capabilities and recommend solutions.
• Ensure systems (ERP, CRM, phone systems, etc.) are optimized and functioning effectively.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues (networking, hardware, connectivity).
• Support and maintain compliance (HIPAA environment preferred).
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
