Qualifications

• Experience in a small or founder-led business.
• Retail, consumer products, apparel, jewelry, wholesale, e-commerce or inventory-based environment preferred.
• Ability to own the accounting process, improve structure, and provide reliable financial visibility to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close, general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Oversee AP, AR, cash activity, and working capital visibility.
• Support inventory accounting, COGS, gross margin, and related reporting.
• Review current accounting processes to improve structure and consistency.
• Strengthen documentation, reporting cadence, and internal controls.
• Provide leadership with timely, accurate financial information for decision-making.
• Partner with founder/leadership in a lean, fast-moving environment.
• Help create scalable accounting processes as the business evolves.
