Job summary

United Future seeks an experienced In-Mold Grading (IMG) Supervisor to oversee daily forming press, bonding, and wrapping operations at a startup manufacturing facility in Georgia. You will supervise production employees, monitor equipment performance, and maintain product quality while ensuring safe, efficient processes on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or education preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience involving forming presses, in-mold grading, lamination, bonding, or related production processes.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with forming press equipment, including compression molding, vacuum forming, or thermoforming, strongly preferred. Metal stamping press experience alone does not meet this requirement.
• Knowledge of TPO, films, fabrics, and other materials used in bonding and wrapping applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues, monitor process parameters, and identify product defects.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards, 5S, and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily in-mold grading, forming press, bonding, and wrapping operations to meet production, quality, and safety objectives.
• Coordinate employee assignments, production schedules, and workflow across assigned operations.
• Monitor forming press parameters, including temperature, pressure, and cycle times, to ensure consistent product quality.
• Oversee manual and automated bonding and wrapping processes, ensuring proper material alignment, tension, and adhesion.
• Troubleshoot production issues, equipment performance concerns, and recurring defects to minimize downtime.
• Support start-up activities, including equipment readiness, work instruction development, and implementation of standardized production procedures.
