Job summary

San Joaquin Valley College Inc. in Bakersfield, CA is seeking an Instructor to teach hands-on HVAC courses, coach students through real-world skills, safety, and industry expectations, and help them launch or advance their careers.

You will work with a supportive campus team to deliver engaging instruction and strong outcomes. Typical schedule is Monday–Thursday, up to 20 hours per week, with compensation of $22.00–$32.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher required or preferred.
• EPA Universal Section 608 Certification required.
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience, education, and/or training in current HVAC practices.
• Willingness to learn—teaching support and training provided.
