Job summary

Advanced Heating in Cosmopolis, WA is seeking an Install Helper to assist with the installation of HVAC equipment in residential customers' homes, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and air handlers.

You will assist with equipment start-up, troubleshooting, duct work, and ensuring thermostats operate correctly, following manufacturer specs, codes, and company policies under the direction of the Lead Installer.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability under company policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation of HVAC equipment into residential customer homes per manufacturer specifications, company policy, local and state codes.
• Assist in equipment troubleshooting, installation start-up, operation and other duties to ensure customer satisfaction as directed by Lead Installer.
• Assist in installation of flex and sheet metal duct systems in residential buildings to AMI Quality Standards, required code and job specifications as directed by Lead Installer.
• Ensure functionality of thermostats to control HVAC system is operational.
• Verify all materials and equipment required for each scheduled job and load into company vehicle.
• Perform all duties in accordance with safety trainings and regulations as defined by company policy and procedure.
• Ensure that company vehicle is maintained and operated in accordance to company driving policy.
• Participate and attend all required employee meetings and trainings.
