Job summary

Lansing Community College seeks an Adjunct Instructor to teach Heavy Equipment Repair Technician courses in our Technical Careers Division. The position is part-time, up to 30 hours per week, with pay based on the PT salary schedule.

This role focuses on delivering instruction in lab and classroom settings to a diverse student population and may include daytime and evening classes. Candidates must meet the required qualifications and be current AIS Instructors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an industry-related field and a minimum of two years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate's degree in heavy equipment repair with a minimum of five years recent and relevant experience; OR High School diploma with a minimum of seven years relevant industry experience.
• Current AIS Instructor.

Responsibilities

• Primary duty is teaching students in instructional settings (lab and classroom).
• Maintain a regular on-campus presence; daytime and/or evening classes may be scheduled.
