Job summary

Midlands Technical College seeks an experienced Small Engine Repair Instructor to deliver hands-on training in Small Engine Repair at the Airport Campus. The instructor will prepare students to diagnose, maintain, repair, and rebuild engines and outdoor equipment, equipping them for entry-level employment or self-maintenance.

Adjunct faculty are compensated at a standard rate of $40 per hour, with final compensation depending on credentials and course hours.

Qualifications

• At least three (3) years of recent experience in small engine repair, outdoor power equipment service, or a related mechanical field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on training in Small Engine Repair.
• Prepare students to diagnose, maintain, repair, and rebuild a variety of small engines and outdoor power equipment.
• Equip students with skills for entry-level employment or to maintain their own equipment.
• Keep student records and adhere to course schedules.
• This position will be located on the Midlands Technical College Airport Campus.
