onepot is automating chemistry. In this role you will build key parts of onepot's hardware stack and enable chemistry to be performed automatically.

You will design bespoke hardware modules and integrate commercially available equipment for liquid or solid dispensing, handling, reaction setup, heating and cooling. This is a deeply hands-on position: you will assemble prototypes, write control software, debug in the lab, and work with chemists to understand failures.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in engineering or physics; exceptional candidates considered without one.
• Demonstrated engineering ability and what you have built.
• Experience building hardware independently or in small teams.
• Ability to move quickly, make good decisions with incomplete information, and solve difficult problems.

Aufgaben

• Build key parts of onepot's hardware stack and enable chemistry to be performed automatically.
• Design bespoke hardware modules and integrate commercially available equipment.
• Build systems for liquid or solid dispensing, vial and plate handling, reaction setup, heating and cooling, inert atmosphere operations, sampling, instrument loading, or automated analysis.
• Design, assemble prototypes, write control software, debug systems in the lab, and work with chemists to understand failures.
• Own systems from initial concept through fabrication, deployment, failure, and improvement.
• Ensure reliability in real laboratory conditions.
