Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a hands-on Upholsterer/Assembler to build quality upholstered furniture in a fast-paced production cell. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and using staple and framing tools to complete components to specification.

You will work in a team environment with strict adherence to Kan Ban and quality standards, contributing to daily production goals and timely delivery of finished units.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand up to 10 hours per day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Completion of in-house training curriculum may be required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team atmosphere.
• Perform any position within the cell as needed.
• Upholster components per notes and specifications.
• Frame and assemble components using hand tools and power tools.
• Coordinate workflow in the cell.
• Pack and prepare finished units for shipment.
