La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking team-oriented individuals for a fast-paced 2nd shift assembling and upholstering furniture. You will work in cells handling upholstery, framing, cushions, final assembly and packaging, using staple guns, power tools, drills, and frame guns.

The role requires standing up to 10 hours, bending, twisting, and lifting at least 50 lbs, with mandatory overtime on Fridays. The position emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, safety, and the ability to meet daily production quotas

Qualificações

Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above duties.
Basic reading and writing skills required.
Completion of in-house training curriculum.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day with frequent bending, twisting and reaching.
Capacity to push, pull, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Skilled use of hands for gripping, pulling, and tugging.

Responsabilidades

Upholster: knock down frame corners and staple materials; assemble components per upholstery notes.
Frame: assemble components using frame gun and glue; perform cleanup.
Cushion Process: insert stuffing, seal and quilt, staple materials.
Final Assembly: assemble all components into a completed unit; ensure unit completeness.
Packaging: secure packaging and prepare units for shipment.
