Job summary

Our client, a well-established food manufacturing company serving the Seacoast NH/Southern Maine area, seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor to lead daily production, ensure safety and quality, and develop a high-performing team.

You will coach staff, optimize line performance, collaborate with warehouse and maintenance, and manage budget-impacting activities while maintaining sanitation and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in food manufacturing.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead production employees, manage priorities, and meet operational goals.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production equipment, and food safety practices.
• Ability to identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet production, safety, quality, and efficiency goals.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while fostering a positive, accountable team environment.
• Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining product quality and food safety standards.
• Support staffing decisions, employee performance management, and labor efficiency.
• Work closely with warehouse and manufacturing teams to keep operations running smoothly.
• Maintain compliance with sanitation, equipment, workplace safety, and company procedures.
