Job summary

BF Construction Inc. is seeking a hands-on Superintendent to lead daily field operations on active commercial projects, coordinating subcontractors, site logistics, and sequencing.

The role focuses on keeping schedules, ensuring quality, and maintaining OSHA safety standards on fast-paced builds. You will drive site walks, verify work, and communicate with project managers and crews to keep projects moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial construction experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge across multiple trades.
• Ability to read and interpret complete construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of sequencing, scheduling, and field coordination.
• Experience managing subcontractors and maintaining jobsite accountability.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Comfortable using digital project management and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations on active commercial construction projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trade sequencing, and site logistics.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure upcoming work is properly prepared.
• Conduct daily site walks to identify issues before they become delays.
• Verify work quality and ensure all work meets plans and specifications.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and enforce jobsite safety standards.
• Communicate consistently with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and field crews.
• Track daily progress, maintain organized jobsite documentation, and upload progress photos.
• Review plans, drawings, and specifications to confirm field accuracy and coordination.
• Identify and resolve field conflicts, constructability issues, and schedule impacts.
• Manage punch lists and coordinate closeout activities.
• Keep projects moving efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
