Job summary

Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, NY is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our year-round Facilities team. This hands-on role involves maintaining a large 355-acre property and working on a variety of building systems, repairs, and projects.

You will fix, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and related trades while collaborating with contractors and other departments.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, facilities, construction, mechanical work, or skilled trades experience.
• Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, refrigeration, or general building maintenance.
• Technical, vocational, or trade school background.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs throughout the Club's facilities and property.
• Troubleshoot and assist with repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, painting, drywall, and other building systems.
• Complete work orders and respond to maintenance requests from Club departments.
• Assist with facility improvements, remodeling projects, seasonal maintenance, and other hands-on projects.
• Use hand and power tools safely and properly.
• Work alongside outside contractors and specialized vendors when needed.
• Respond to maintenance issues and emergencies to help keep our facilities safe, comfortable, and operational.
• Inspect equipment, facilities, and building systems and communicate potential problems before they become larger issues.
• Maintain an organized workspace, tools, equipment, and maintenance inventory.
• Follow all Club safety procedures and applicable OSHA standards.
• Support the Facilities team with other projects and responsibilities as needed.
