Job summary

JLL is seeking a Facilities Mechanical Engineer to maintain and optimize building mechanical systems, including HVAC and life-safety. This hands-on role blends engineering expertise with field work to troubleshoot, repair, and improve facilities.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience in commercial/industrial settings, strong understanding of mechanical drawings, and familiarity with building automation and CMMS tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years hands-on experience with commercial/industrial building mechanical systems.
• Experience with HVAC operation, maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of plumbing, controls and building automation systems.
• Familiarity with code compliance and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize boilers, chillers, HVAC, plumbing and fire life safety systems across facilities.
• Execute work orders for mechanical repairs and improvements; document activities.
• Support capital improvement projects with technical input and oversight.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, OSHA requirements and safety practices.
