Job summary

Facility Services Inc. (FSI) is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to keep buildings and grounds safe, clean, and well-maintained. You will perform a variety of indoor and outdoor tasks as part of a collaborative team.

The role requires hands-on skills in basic plumbing, painting, carpentry, and landscape care, with the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. A reliable work ethic and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• General knowledge of building maintenance, repair techniques, and safe equipment operation.
• Experience with groundskeeping, landscaping, or outdoor property maintenance preferred.
• Must be able to pass a local background check and obtain and maintain NAC/LAC clearance after hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings, equipment, and surrounding grounds to ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment.
• Perform general building repairs and preventive maintenance, including basic plumbing, painting, carpentry, masonry, and electrical work.
• Maintain outdoor areas, including lawns, landscaped spaces, walkways, and surrounding grounds.
• Safely operate and maintain groundskeeping tools and equipment.
• Follow all company safety policies and maintain maintenance records.
