Job summary

CPI Security is seeking a dependable Facilities Maintenance/Fleet Lead based in Charlotte, NC. You will manage maintenance for facilities, fleet assets, and equipment, while coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires hands-on skills, organization, and the ability to work independently under established safety procedures. Travel up to 30% is expected across assigned locations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance, fleet, facilities, or related experience.
• Knowledge of general building maintenance practices.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair work, including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, electrical, and vehicle servicing.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and service schedules for facilities, equipment, and fleet assets.
• Coordinate and monitor weekly, monthly, and quarterly work completed by outside vendors.
• Safely operate maintenance tools and equipment, including hand tools, pressure washers, blowers, paint equipment, ice removal equipment, and ladders.
• Communicate with the Asset Manager, cleaning crews, and other team members regarding maintenance needs and completed work.
• Prioritize daily assignments using sound judgment to complete work efficiently and safely.
• Complete basic tracking and administrative tasks using Microsoft Office and standard office equipment.
• Travel to assigned locations as needed to support maintenance and fleet operations.
