Job summary

SpaceXAI in Memphis, TN and Southaven, MS seeks a facilities engineer to design, construct, operate, and maintain critical facilities and HVAC/mechanical systems across multiple sites. You will coordinate multi-discipline projects, manage contractors, and ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards.

The role requires hands-on engineering, strong communication, and a readiness to travel between Memphis and Southaven.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of professional experience with facilities engineering and/or construction.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate phases of site development projects and schedule alignment.
• Contractor management including RFPs, specifications and supplier selection.
• Provide engineering support to ensure compliance with codes and specs.
• Commission, operate and maintain facilities with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Develop cost estimates, plans, and specifications for projects.
• Prepare and coordinate capital expenditure processes to meet budgets.
