Job summary

Opti Staffing's Metal Manufacturing Expeditor in Vancouver, WA is a hands-on leadership role supporting daily shop operations. You will help with quality control, shipping and receiving, and production tasks such as drilling, sawing, laser work, and assembly while guiding the floor team.

This position offers growth into management, a fast-paced fabrication environment, and the chance to optimize production deadlines by taking initiative, staying busy, and coordinating cross‑functional activities

Qualifications

Fabrication experience.
Forklift experience.
Comfortable using shop tools.
Strong work ethic and leadership skills.
Ability to stay busy, take initiative, and handle multiple responsibilities.
Desire to grow into a leadership role.

Responsibilities

Handle quality control, including dimensional checks, in-process inspections, and final inspections.
Manage shipping and receiving, including loading/unloading trucks, receiving materials, coordinating driver routes, and scheduling outside trucking.
Jump into production and fabrication as needed, including drill and tap, saw operation, laser/press brake support, fabrication, and deliveries.
Take on special assignments and help keep the shop organized, productive, and moving efficiently.
Work directly with management and serve as a leader and go-to person on the floor.
