Job summary

Opti Staffing's Metal Manufacturing Expeditor in Vancouver, WA is a hands-on leadership role supporting daily shop operations. You will help with quality control, shipping and receiving, and production tasks such as drilling, sawing, laser work, and assembly while guiding the floor team.

Responsibilities

• Handle quality control, including dimensional checks, in-process inspections, and final inspections.
• Manage shipping and receiving, including loading/unloading trucks, receiving materials, coordinating driver routes, and scheduling outside trucking.
• Jump into production and fabrication as needed, including drill and tap, saw operation, laser/press brake support, fabrication, and deliveries.
• Take on special assignments and help keep the shop organized, productive, and moving efficiently.
• Work directly with management and serve as a leader and go-to person on the floor.

Location: Vancouver, WA | Pay: (DOE) | Schedule: Full-time.

Who We Are

Out client is a large-scale steel fabrication and manufacturing operation serving a variety of industries. The facility handles laser cutting, press brake forming, fabrication, welding, drilling, assembly, and finishing. This is a fast-paced, hands‑on shop where quality, efficiency, and meeting production deadlines are important.

What You’ll Do

This is a multi-functional, hands‑on leadership position supporting daily shop operations.

• Handle quality control, including dimensional checks, in-process inspections, and final inspections.
• Manage shipping and receiving, including loading/unloading trucks, receiving materials, coordinating driver routes, and scheduling outside trucking.
• Jump into production and fabrication as needed, including drill and tap, saw operation, laser/press brake support, fabrication, and deliveries.
