Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as EMT, nursing assistant, paramedic, or RN student (completed first year) preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• CPI initial training for new hires within 60 days followed by annual de-escalation training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in provision of patient care in the Emergency Department under direction of RNs and physicians.
• Maintain the patient care environment.
