Northern Pizza Equipment is seeking a hands-on Equipment Technician to help restore and rebuild commercial kitchen equipment used by restaurants across Michigan and beyond. You’ll work alongside a skilled production team through every stage, from disassembly to inspection and final testing.

No prior commercial kitchen equipment experience is required. If you’re mechanically inclined, enjoy working with your hands, and are willing to learn, we’ll provide training and mentorship to help you

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Able to lift up to 85 pounds.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional overnight travel.
• Background in repair skills or another hands-on trade is a plus.
• Reliability and the follow-through to complete tasks.
• Flexibility when customer needs change priorities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Team-first attitude and pride in quality work.

Aufgaben

• Disassemble equipment and inventory parts accurately.
• Clean frames, assemblies, and parts using mechanical/chemical methods.
• Inspect components for wear or defects and identify repairs.
• Refinish and restore surfaces through painting and finishing processes.
• Reassemble equipment to company standards and perform basic tests.
• Document work time, materials used, and progress.
• Safely load, unload, and move equipment.
• Assist with deliveries and installations at customer sites.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area following procedures.
