Boom Technology, Inc. is offering a Summer 2027 Engineering and Tech Internship in Centennial, CO. You will be embedded directly within core teams, tackling high-stakes engineering problems across materials, manufacturing, electrical, mechanical, and turbomachinery domains.

You’ll work hands-on on real hardware, with ownership and responsibility beyond a typical internship. The program emphasizes practical impact, collaboration, and learning on the shop floor, lab, and test stands.

Qualifications

• Solid fundamentals in materials science of metallics and ceramics, with knowledge of strengthening mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience in an M&P lab to test, categorize and evaluate high-performance materials including creep and LCF testing.
• Experience designing, integrating, or testing electrical systems and hardware integration.

Responsibilities

• Work on materials and processes for Superpower and related programs.
• Support production processes from concept to hardware delivery.
• Embed within core teams to own pieces of engineering problems.
• Collaborate across disciplines (materials, mechanical, electrical) to drive hardware quality.
