Job summary

Pioneer Truckweld in Silverton, OR, is seeking an Engineering & Production Coordinator to drive projects from order intake through manufacturing. You will support engineering and production teams, create BOMs, and develop detailed drawings for fabrication.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, organization, and teamwork, with hands-on involvement in custom truck equipment projects. SolidWorks experience and strong communication skills are valued.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in manufacturing management.
• SolidWorks experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, truck equipment, or heavy industry preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of production scheduling and purchasing coordination is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP or manufacturing management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and process incoming purchase orders (POs) to initiate new projects.
• Create and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) for manufacturing jobs.
• Utilize SolidWorks to create and modify designs based on customer requirements.
• Develop detailed drawings and engineering documentation for production use.
• Write and issue work orders for internally manufactured parts.
• Coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely ordering of materials and components.
• Assist with production scheduling and workflow organization to meet project deadlines.
• Work closely with fabrication and production teams to support manufacturing operations.
• Maintain accurate job records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for engineering and production processes.
