Nidec is seeking an Engineering Lab Technician in North America, MO, to perform advanced testing, assembly, and troubleshooting of prototypes and fixtures. The role supports design validation, process development, and product sustainment with hands-on lab execution and precise data documentation.

You will operate and maintain lab equipment, collaborate with engineers, and contribute to safe, compliant testing of motor and drive technologies across projects. Travel up to 10% is required.

Formación

• Experience with testing, assembly, and troubleshooting in an engineering lab.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and support complex tests and experiments.
• Build, modify, assemble, and troubleshoot prototypes and test fixtures.
• Interpret drawings, procedures, and specifications for non-routine tasks.
• Provide hands-on support for design validation and product sustainment initiatives.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot lab equipment and fixtures.
• Ensure safety, documentation, and compliance of lab activities.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams; share findings.
