Job summary

HNTB is offering an internship in engineering focused on hands-on tasks within our project teams. You will assist assigned department(s) and/or project(s) by performing basic engineering-related tasks that reflect introductory coursework.

You’ll support engineers with research, development and design, and help prepare engineering drawings and documents as assigned. This role is ideal for a current student seeking practical experience.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Basic understanding of engineering, geometry and algebra.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to follow directions from peers and supervisors.
• Willingness to learn basic drafting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering teams in tasks and duties.
• Support research, development and design of projects.
