Job summary

HNTB Corporation seeks an engineering intern to assist assigned departments and project teams with basic engineering tasks. You will support research, development, and the preparation of drawings and documents under supervision.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an accredited engineering program and have foundational knowledge in geometry, algebra, and MS Office. Visa sponsorship is not available; multiple US locations are supported.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Basic understanding of engineering, geometry, and algebra.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to follow directions from peers and supervisors.
• Ability to perform basic engineering calculations.
• Ability to organize information for drawings or documents.
• Completion of 2 years of post-secondary engineering program (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
• Assists Engineer with preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
