Job summary

Lansing Community College’s West Campus invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor in Electrical Technology to teach one or more courses per semester, based on qualifications and departmental needs.

Occasional day, evening, or weekend sessions are possible, with most work on campus. Regular on‑campus presence is expected under the MAHE bargaining unit. The position is pay based on the PT salary schedule and is open until filled.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field with relevant work experience.
• Documented proof of required qualifications as applicable.
• Transcripts may be required for degree verification.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Electrical Technology courses in lab and classroom settings.
• Cover topics such as DC/AC Theory, motors and transformers, PLCs, safety, NEC, and wiring.
• Adjust teaching to diverse learning styles while maintaining a safe, positive lab.
