Several disciplines in the Trades Technology Department, including the Electrical Technology Program (ELTE), share a 100-level course in Industrial/Construction Safety. This course covers safety in the industrial workplace and on construction worksites and local, state and federal safety regulations. The focus of the course is on the prevention of accidents, but it also teaches the correct response if an accident should occur. First aid, CPR/AED and OSHA-30 certificates will be issued to students upon successful completion of the course.

Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.
Final candidates will be subject to a criminal background check as part of the employment process.
Two (2) years’ experience in a relevant industry field
Possess an OSHA 10-hour/30-hour Trainer Certification OR, fulfill the requirements necessary to obtain an OSHA 10-hour/30-hour Trainer Certification (per requirements listed below) within one semester from hire and before being assigned a section to teach.
