Job summary

RESA Power, LLC. is seeking a Shop Tech to receive and execute work assignments supporting shop operations and customer orders. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, troubleshooting electrical systems, and providing timely test reports.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of related experience, knowledge of OSHA/NETA/IEEE/NFPA standards, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Travel is minimal, with competitive hourly pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED with at least 1 year of related experience.
Knowledge of OSHA, NETA, IEEE and NFPA standards.
Experience with MCCs, breakers, relay testing or related equipment; military training acceptable.

Responsibilities

Complete incoming visual inspection for defects.
Troubleshoot, test, maintain, redesign, rebuild, retrofit, and repair electrical equipment.
Work with transformers, switchgear, breakers as applicable.
Complete test reports to company and customer standards.
Maintain strong client relationships through quality work.
Improve operations and reduce turnaround times in collaboration with others.
