Job summary

ISG in Washington state is seeking a skilled Control Panel Technician to build electrical control panels from start to finish, following UL 508A codes. The role requires installation, wiring, and alignment with general supervision in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of panel assembly experience and an electrical apprenticeship or related training. This position offers competitive hourly wages, union benefits, and paid time off in a collaborative shop environment.

Qualifications

• Completed electrical apprenticeship or equivalent experience with UL 508A knowledge.
• 1-3 years' experience assembling and wiring control panels per UL 508A codes.

Responsibilities

• Build electrical control panels start to finish under general direction.
• Layout, fab, and wire panels with supervision.
• Safely operate hand tools (Impact Drill, Band Saw, Mag Drill, Strut Cutter).
• Layout, fabrication of supports, and mount equipment with supervision.
• Calculate wire sizing for panels.
• Troubleshoot electrical schematics and correct errors under supervision.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
