Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation in Orlando, FL seeks an Electrical Engineer Intern to join the hardware engineering team. Gain hands-on experience resolving technical challenges, updating drawings, and supporting circuit card assembly.

You will work with schematic capture, PCB layout, and design documentation, using LTspice, PSpice, Simulink, MATLAB, and Multisim, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to test procedures and reports.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, generator, analyzer).
• US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist production and development teams with resolving technical challenges and updates to drawings and BOMs.
• Support circuit card assembly design, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and design docs.
• Perform circuit simulation/analysis using LTspice, PSpice, Simulink, MATLAB or Multisim.
• Use test equipment to support hardware bring-up and troubleshooting.
• Support hardware operations and cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, quality).
• Collaborate on design integration and interface resolution.
• Develop and maintain test procedures, design reports, and change documentation.
