Job description

The Role

Purpose of the role: You’ll enhance how complex construction projects are delivered by driving effective production planning and site delivery to the highest standards. You will work closely with contractors to plan, sequence and execute the work, using structured planning methods to improve certainty and logistical flow on site. You will translate the integrated master schedule into practical, buildable plans, using lean planning software and collaborative techniques to align teams on priorities, constraints and upcoming work.

Your top three objectives
  1. Make construction projects deliver to near perfection through effective production planning and control.
  2. Create scalable and repeatable solutions that improve site delivery and logistics performance.
  3. Develop yourself and everyone around you, including contractor teams and site supervisors.
Your top five responsibilities
  1. Own the plan (Production & Delivery Focus) – Own and optimise the project plan and actively drive its implementation with contractors. Ensure plans are buildable, coordinated and aligned with site realities, with a strong focus on short‑term delivery. Mitigate or reduce delays through proactive planning, constraint removal and verify construction sequencing with contractors.
  2. Facilitate contractor planning and execution – Work directly with contractors to develop and maintain high‑quality, logic‑driven programmes. Lead look‑ahead planning (2–6 weeks), coordinate trades and ensure teams are clear on priorities, access and constraints.
  3. Implement collaborative planning methods – Facilitate Last Planner System practices including look‑ahead planning, weekly work planning and constraint management. Lead milestone‑pull planning sessions to break down key phases into logistics‑deliverable and sequenced work packages.
  4. Report and improve delivery performance – Provide insights on plan performance, progress and risks. Track metrics such as PPC and reasons for variance, and work with teams to continually improve plan reliability and productivity.
  5. Make scalable solutions & develop others – Develop and implement repeatable planning and logistics approaches and tools. Support the development of project teams and contractors by coaching in planning best practices and delivery‑focused thinking.
You must have
  • Construction engineering background – at least 2 years of experience on construction projects, experience in project planning software and principles, decent Excel skills and a strong interest in data.
  • Communication skills – fluent in English; Norwegian language skills (native or professional fluency) are a strong advantage.
  • Leadership capabilities – lead yourself proactively and lead others by asking the right questions and challenging them.
  • Impact – a track record of making projects and organisations better beyond basic tasks, implementing scalable, repeatable solutions that had a significant positive impact.
Benefits
  • Health Insurance Scheme – comprehensive private coverage for you and your family.
  • Bonus Scheme – flexible mix of cash and high‑growth equity, discretionary and performance‑based.
  • Professional body membership – one fee covered annually.
  • In‑house coaching – regular one‑to‑one sessions to help you grow professionally and personally.
  • Equity upside – generous equity scheme for long‑term growth.
  • Flexible working – work where it makes sense; most team works from home with site or client visits as needed.
  • Relentless development – coach, mentor, honest feedback and a culture that challenges you to level up.
