Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. in Connecticut is seeking a Working Supervisor to lead the operations team in a 24/7 dairy processing facility. The role emphasizes technical hands-on supervision, driving efficiency, product quality, and safe production.

You will guide line changeovers, troubleshoot equipment, mentor operators, ensure GMPs, and monitor OEE while sustaining regulatory compliance and SAP-based workflows. Shifts may vary days, swing or night; collaboration across departments is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in a food manufacturing/dairy environment preferred.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Experience leading and following Safety/Security Policies and Procedures.
• Proficient with SAP and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure housekeeping and GMPs are maintained at high levels in processing and filling areas.
• Oversee cleaning of fillers and related equipment (CIP and manual exterior cleaning) to meet standards.
• Ensure product batches meet quality specs and are processed to regulatory and customer requirements.
• Oversee line changeovers, provide guidance and technical assistance to minimize downtime.
• Verify production documentation is complete and accurate; perform root cause analysis for downtime.
• Promote safety programs and train employees on production and equipment standards.
