Job summary

BMW Group Canada is seeking a Corporate Communications Intern for a 12‑month placement. You will support internal communications, manage databases, and prepare market fact sheets while gaining hands‑on experience in strategic communications at a leading global company.

You will work across departments, drive media coverage, protect corporate reputation, and learn how global strategy aligns with local initiatives.

Qualifications

• Background in Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or Communications.
• Superior written and oral communication skills; French language skills are an asset.
• Proficiency in basic data analytics and experience with preparing reports.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• An interest in the automotive industry and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support internal communications assets, from executive meetings to newsletters.
• Manage databases and prepare reports using media monitoring systems.
• Prepare market fact sheets and corporate backgrounders with board‑level exposure.
• Assist with national press fleet logistics and media communications.
• Create and implement corporate communications initiatives with executive involvement.
• Collaborate across departments and levels to align strategy and execution.
