The Windquest Group, a Michigan-based privately held enterprise and private investment management firm, invites motivated Accounting Interns to join our diverse portfolio operations. You'll work with seasoned professionals on the month-end close, financial reporting, AP/AR, and process improvements across multiple industries.

This one-year internship emphasizes hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

• Current college student enrolled part-time at a fully accredited four-year institution with related coursework in accounting.
• Experience with bookkeeping tasks, data entry, and use of spreadsheet tools is helpful.
• Interest in pursuing a long-term career in accounting; strong desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Participate in projects that improve financial processes and internal systems across diverse Windquest portfolio companies.
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable by processing invoices, vendor payments, and customer billings.
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis across multiple Windquest portfolio companies.
• Support annual 1099 preparation and tax reporting activities.
• Assist with office administration duties as assigned.
• Prepare selected financial reports and perform ad hoc projects as needed.
