WBE Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced Controller to lead our accounting team in Renton, WA. The role blends hands-on daily accounting with strategic process improvements and cross-functional partnership with operations and leadership.

The ideal candidate will oversee general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls, driving scalable practices with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. 5+ years of controller experience is required.

Qualifications

• CPA with Bachelor’s Degree or Masters in Accounting and Finance.
• 5 years prior controller or senior accounting leadership experience.
• Hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Experience managing accounting functions within a distribution company environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Oversee the general ledger, chart of accounts, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close process.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reporting packages.
• Maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures.
• Manage and improve accounting processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Support accounting for inventory, product sales, service operations, and project-based work.
• Analyze profitability, margins, and operational performance across products, services, and projects.
• Partner with leadership to improve workflows, reporting and financial visibility.
• Oversee payroll accounting and payroll-related reconciliations.
• Coordinate with payroll providers and support payroll activities.
