Job summary

Logan City School District seeks a qualified Construction Technology, Woodworking, and Mechanical Design Engineering Teacher for a temporary assignment from September 15, 2026 to February 5, 2027. The position delivers hands-on instruction across classroom, shop, and CAD labs, aligning with Utah CTE standards.

The educator will teach construction processes, woodworking, CAD, 3D modeling, and engineering documentation, while maintaining safety and fostering workplace readiness and career

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Utah Professional Educator License with an appropriate CTE or Secondary Education license area, or the ability to obtain the required license.
• Appropriate Utah endorsement or authorization for assigned courses.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver instruction aligned with Utah CTE standards and district curriculum.
• Enforce classroom, laboratory, construction-site, and shop safety requirements.
• Provide hands-on instruction in construction, woodworking, CAD, and engineering documentation.
• Instruct students in software to create parts, drawings, and engineering models.
• Guide students in project design, modeling, testing, and refinement of constructions and prototypes.
