Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an Intern for a summer program in Seattle, WA. The role provides hands-on exposure to construction management, safety protocols, and project coordination on a real site with supervision from project engineers and managers.

You will assist with document control, progress reporting, and communication with architects, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors; participate in training and site visits, and gain exposure to estimating and contract requirements for

• Currently enrolled in a college or university and pursuing a related degree.
• Demonstrates clear verbal and written communication.
• Shows ability to work in team and learn on site.

Responsibilities

• Assist day-to-day activities on an active construction project site.
• Support project team with coordination, document control, and progress reporting.
• Learn project safety protocols and quality control requirements.
• Assist with meetings, submittals, RFIs, and correspondence as directed.
• Contribute to project start-up activities and learn from project engineers/managers.
