Job summary

SpawGlass is seeking a Construction Management Intern for Fort Worth to gain hands-on experience on real projects, supporting project teams from preconstruction through closeout.

You will review plans, assist with submittals and RFIs, perform quantity takeoffs, track schedules, and help with site logistics, quality control, safety, and coordination with subs and inspectors. We value teamwork, reliability, and a learning mindset.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a construction management, civil engineering, or related program.
• Basic understanding of construction processes, drawings, and terminology.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with field and office teams.
• Strong organizational skills with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced construction setting.
• Reliable, punctual, adaptable, and safety-minded with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); exposure to construction software is a plus.
• Willingness to work in both office and field environments.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and assist with submittals and RFIs.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and support schedule updates.
• Document meeting notes and coordinate with subcontractors and inspectors.
• Assist with site logistics, quality control, and safety documentation.
• Support project teams from preconstruction through closeout.
