Job summary

The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company is offering a Construction Intern position in Connecticut with a Finance focus. Open to undergraduate students seeking hands-on experience across bidding to project completion, with assignments in both office and job site settings.

Interns will work under project managers, superintendents, and engineers, gaining exposure to quantity take-off, layout, RFI reviews, and coordination with owners and subs.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student pursuing construction/engineering.
• Willingness to relocate to remote sites and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with quantity take-off and layout on projects.
• Support preconstruction surveys and log maintenance.
• Review shop drawings and submittals.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Assist with estimates, budgets, value engineering.
• Support scheduling, quality control and safety.
