SRS Distribution in McKinney, TX seeks a Software Engineering Manager to lead the development and delivery of cloud-native web applications. The role requires hands-on leadership, deep Azure/.NET/C expertise, and a strong focus on microservices, security, and performance.

You will mentor teams, drive technical roadmaps, and align engineering initiatives with business opportunities. Expect HR responsibilities, travel, and a fast-paced Agile/DevOps environment.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on leadership in a software engineering environment.
• At least 5 years building cloud-native apps with microservices/SOA and serverless.
• Experience leading 2–5 member teams in Agile environments.
• Extensive Azure, .NET, C, SQL experience and VS IDE proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions with stakeholders.
• Lead and deliver high-quality web apps in Agile/DevOps with CI/CD.
• Promote and evolve Agile practices to empower self-directed teams.
• Create and maintain technical roadmaps guiding multiple engineering teams.
• Advise on design and architecture for security, scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Mentor and coach engineers; drive HR tasks like pay, promotions, leave.
• Drive AI-enabled engineering practices to boost productivity and insights.
• Travel to corporate offices and locations as needed.
