Closets By Design in the Charlotte area is seeking an Installation Assistant to support lead installers in installing custom closets and storage systems in customers' homes. You will help with loading materials, preparing work areas, and assisting with assembly and installation, while maintaining safety and a clean, organized job site.

The role requires basic hand and power tool use, mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, reliable work habits, and good customer communication.

Qualifications

• Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• General construction, carpentry, or installation experience, with skills in measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with clients in their homes.
• Reliable work habits, including punctuality, teamwork, and the ability to follow directions and installation plans.
• Physical ability to lift and carry materials, stand for extended periods, and work safely on ladders or in confined spaces.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and dependable transportation to job sites in the Charlotte Metro area.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in home improvement or custom cabinetry installation is a plus.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor on-site.
