Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Chemical Production Associate to follow written procedures for shell and electrode plating under close supervision. You will prepare parts, load baskets, and immerse them in chemical baths, while maintaining safe operation of cleaning and drying steps.

Daily duties include basic measurements, equipment checks, and safety compliance. The role requires reading gauges, basic math and computer skills, with high school or equivalent education.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read gauges and instruments.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Repetitive lifting of 25–30 lbs.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow written procedures for shell and electrode plating.
• Place parts in baskets or racks and immerse in chemical baths.
• Process products through cleaning and rinsing tanks and the dryer.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per safety guidelines.
• Assist the Department Supervisor with assigned tasks.
