Job summary

Coral Reef Partners is seeking a hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company's financial strategy and day-to-day operations from Jonestown, PA. The role reports to the CEO and oversees accounting, reporting, budgeting, treasury, banking, tax coordination, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial leadership experience (Controller/Director of Finance/CFO).
• Experience with project-based organizations (construction/EPC/renewable energy).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, project accounting, and internal controls.
• Experience with job costing, project financial analysis, and ERP/accounting systems.
• Cash flow management, banking relationships, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting, finance, treasury, and financial reporting functions.
• Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per GAAP.
• Manage month-end/year-end close processes and GL activity.
• Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts; maintain long-term financial plans.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, working capital, and capital requirements.
• Develop financial models, dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting.
• Monitor job costing, project margins, WIP, labor utilization, overhead allocation, and forecasts.
• Identify financial risks and cost-saving opportunities across project lifecycles.
• Provide budgeting/forecasting support to project managers and leadership.
• Oversee AP/AR/payroll and other accounting activities.
• Coordinate audits, tax preparation, and regulatory reporting with external partners.
• Establish internal controls and scalable accounting processes.
• Drive process improvements and automation in financial systems.
