Palms at Sebring is seeking an experienced Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to oversee the dietary department for a Skilled Nursing Facility and an Assisted Living Facility in Sebring, FL. You will supervise cooks, plan staffing, and ensure meals meet dietary restrictions and regulatory requirements.

You will coordinate with the Registered Dietitian and nursing staff to meet residents’ nutritional needs, manage budgets, and maintain high sanitation and safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen

Qualifications

• CDM credential required; CFPP certification strongly preferred.
• Experience leading dietary operations in Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living settings.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare dietary regulations, therapeutic diets, and sanitation standards.
• Experience with staff scheduling, inventory management, and budget control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced kitchen serving a large resident population.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to hold staff accountable.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily dietary operations for SNF and Assisted Living.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate cooks and aides.
• Develop and maintain staffing schedules for all meals and shifts.
• Ensure meals meet dietary restrictions, physician orders, and nutritional requirements.
• Maintain compliance with AHCA, CMS, Florida regulations, and food safety standards.
• Conduct routine kitchen inspections for cleanliness, storage, temperature, and infection control.
• Manage food ordering, inventory, production records, and departmental budgets.
• Collaborate with Registered Dietitian and interdisciplinary team to address residents’ needs.
• Ensure therapeutic diets and special meal accommodations are followed.
• Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and timely meal service.
• Provide staff education, evaluations, and corrective action when needed.
• Maintain survey readiness and dietary documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Address resident preferences and opportunities for improvement.
