Job summary

Paradigm at The Oak is seeking a dedicated Building Maintenance Manager to lead a small support services team in a hands-on maintenance role. You will ensure resident safety and comfort through proactive upkeep of building systems, grounds, and equipment, while mentoring a maintenance assistant and coordinating housekeeping/laundry oversight.

The role requires 3–5 years of maintenance experience, a regulatory-focused mindset, and proficiency with maintenance software (TELS or similar) for work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade certification preferred.
• 3-5 years hands-on building maintenance experience; healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience supervising a small team (1–2 people) in a single facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on repairs and preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems.
• Directly supervise and mentor the maintenance assistant; coordinate with housekeeping and laundry leads.
• Log activities in TELS and maintain compliance documentation for audits and surveys.
• Oversee budgets for supplies, labor, and repairs; manage vendor relationships and schedules.
• Perform facility rounds, ensure safety, cleanliness, and regulatory readiness.
