Job summary

IPM FOODS in Janesville, WI is seeking a BBL Associate - Operator to run and monitor the bone broth filling and sealing line, ensuring product is filled, sealed, and packaged safely to Naturpak quality specifications.

This hands-on role requires experience with filling and sealing equipment, a commitment to food safety and GMP, plus the ability to perform routine sanitation and maintain accurate production records.

Qualifications

Education: High school Diploma or GED.
1 year of experience operating filling, sealing, or packaging equipment in a food environment preferred.
Ability to read and follow recipes, SOPs and instructions accurately.
Basic math for checking fill weights and quantities.
Understanding of GMP, food safety and allergen control.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor bone broth filling and sealing line per SOPs/recipes.
Verify product, recipe, and packaging specs before production starts.
Monitor line speed, fill weights, and sealing parameters; adjust as needed.
Perform changeovers, respond to jams or malfunctions; escalate to supervisor.
Conduct in-process checks on fill weights, seal integrity, labels, and packaging.
Perform sanitation checks and end-of-run CIP/manual cleaning of equipment.
Complete production records and logs; follow GMP, allergen, and PPE rules.
